We installed our Therm-Liner Stack in the Ghent sewage treatment plant’s drainage system: like all our systems, it was custom-made to fit. To further increase the efficiency of the heat exchanger, we also took measures in the discharge channel to increase the flow velocity in the area of the heat exchanger stack, so that it now extracts up to 532 kW of thermal energy from the treated wastewater and makes it available for further use directly on site
…and we are already planning the next stack projects!
