12.11.2024: We bring wastewater heat to Ghent in Belgium – with a premiere

We are installing our ‘Therm-Liner Stack’, a new variant of our heat exchanger system, for the first time. In Ghent (Belgium), the stack is being used in the effluent of the wastewater treatment plant. We are also currently developing numerous stack projects in Germany to utilise wastewater heat at sewage treatment plants. Large quantities of wastewater are usually found at sewage treatment plants, meaning that large amounts of energy can be recovered that are particularly suitable for feeding into heating networks. These heating networks are currently a particular focus in Germany, as municipal heating planning is to clarify where heating networks could and should be created by 2026 or 2028.

The heat transition mission continues! Fortunately, heat from wastewater is increasingly taking centre stage.
