24.07.2025 Frankfurt Römerhof Secondary School: Wastewater heat for the new school building

We are implementing a wastewater heat supply system for the new Römerhof high school building in Frankfurt am Main. The DN1200 wastewater collector runs directly adjacent to the school grounds, carrying large quantities of wastewater from Eschborn.

Our Therm-Liner heat exchanger in form A taps into this potential: over a length of 123 meters, we achieve a thermal extraction capacity of 315 kW with 86 modules, thus ensuring a sustainable heat supply for the school.

A photovoltaic system, a rainwater cistern, and green roofs and facades complement the innovative energy concept.
The use of wastewater heat for a school building is a first in Frankfurt am Main. We are delighted to be able to implement this project!
